Application Process

First time users of our service, please print off a copy of our Adviser Agreement.
Then simply complete your details, sign and return to PO Box 39 125, Wellington Mail Centre 5045 or scan it to email back to us.

Note: AMP Connect Advisers are already covered by a group agreement.

Follow these easy steps to have our team of specialists take care of your non-standard case:

1.
Telephone 0800 774 757 to get our initial expert view on the case.

 

2.
Print off our Application Form.
There is a section for your client to complete as well as an Adviser Section.

3.
Send the SRI Application Form to us, with a copy of the original Application & Personal Statement.

 

4.
We will obtain the medical notes from the previous insurer and come back to you with information on whether we can proceed or not, and how this will be done.

 

5.
In very complex cases, our Fee will be requested - ordinarily this will not be required.  A selection of senior underwriters will then inform us of their interest and the probable Terms, which we will send you.

 

6.
If you and your client wish to proceed they will complete the insurer’s application and send this back to us, with your Agency detail.  The insurer will then complete the underwriting process to confirm the Terms and issue the policy.

 

7.
On completion, SRI will invoice your Agency for a share of the first year’s API, which generally equates to around 25% of the initial commission received. If we have to use another Broker, we will advise you of the commission split.

 

8.
The client file is electronically archived and if in the future you wish to increase cover or add additional benefits, we can recover it and assist you again.
